Taco Salad

Sandi’s Taco Salad
A mouth-watering splash of Summer that's quick and simple to make. The whole family will beg for seconds.Difficulty: Easy
Servings 6
Equipment
- Medium Skillet
- Large Mixing Bowl Re-sealable
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. Ground Chuck - 80/20
- 2 Tbsp. Chili Powder
- 1 Small Head of Lettuce
- 3 Small Tomatoes - Diced
- ½ Red Onion - Chopped
- 1 cup Medium Cheddar Cheese - Grated
- 1½ cups Catalina Salad Dressing - (See note)
- Tortilla Chips - Nacho Flavored
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cook beef in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat until it crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain, then stir in Chili Powder and allow to cool.
- While beef is cooling, chop onion, lettuce, and tomatoes into bite-sized pieces and combine in a large re-sealable mixing bowl.
- Add cheese, dressing, and beef, mixing well to combine.
- Plate and then add Crushed Tortilla Chips as a topping.
Notes
Option: You man substitute French Dressing for Catalina.
