Beef Stroganoff – Stove Top
This One Pan dinner treat will be an instant family favorite. It's super easy and perfect for any dinner occasion. Difficulty: Easy
Servings 6
Equipment
- 1 Large Sauté Pan with lid
- 1 Sm Mixing Bowl
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- 8 oz. Egg Nodles
- 8 oz. Mushrooms - siiced
- 4 cups Beef Stock
- 1 Small Onion - diced
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic - minced
- 3 tsp. Smoked Paprika
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- ½ cup Sour Cream
- Salt & Pepper - to taste
- Parsley - for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Add noodles and continue boiling until al denté. Drain.
- Meanwhile, heat the Oil over medium-high heat in a large sauté pan.
- Add the Mushrooms and season with Salt and Pepper to taste.
- Add the Onions and Garlic. Cook until Onions are translucent.
- Add the Ground Beef, break/crumble, and cook until all pink is gone.
- Stir in the Smoked Paprika.
- Add the beef stock and Noodles. Stir together and cover with lid. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, make a slurry of Cornstarch and Water.
- Lower the heat on the Beef and Noodles. Then mix in the slurry. Stir until thickened.
- Add the Sour Cream and mix until incorporated.
- Taste and season generously with more Salt and Pepper.
- Garnish with parsley.
