Beef Stroganoff – Stove Top

This One Pan dinner treat will be an instant family favorite. It's super easy and perfect for any dinner occasion.

  • 1 Large Sauté Pan with lid
  • 1 Sm Mixing Bowl


  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 8 oz. Egg Nodles
  • 8 oz. Mushrooms - siiced
  • 4 cups Beef Stock
  • 1 Small Onion - diced
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic - minced
  • 3 tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • Salt & Pepper - to taste
  • Parsley - for garnish


  • In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Add noodles and continue boiling until al denté. Drain.
  • Meanwhile, heat the Oil over medium-high heat in a large sauté pan.
  • Add the Mushrooms and season with Salt and Pepper to taste.
  • Add the Onions and Garlic. Cook until Onions are translucent.
  • Add the Ground Beef, break/crumble, and cook until all pink is gone.
  • Stir in the Smoked Paprika.
  • Add the beef stock and Noodles. Stir together and cover with lid. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, make a slurry of Cornstarch and Water.
  • Lower the heat on the Beef and Noodles. Then mix in the slurry. Stir until thickened.
  • Add the Sour Cream and mix until incorporated.
  • Taste and season generously with more Salt and Pepper.
  • Garnish with parsley.
