Pie – Apple Crumb

Apple Crumb Pie
A fabulous Dessert when served warm and paired with your favorite scoop of ice cream.Difficulty: Easy

Equipment
- 9" Glass Pie Pan
- Large Mixing Bowl
- Pastry Blender
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Unbaked Pillsbury Pie Crust
Filling
- 4 Large Apples - Fuji
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
Crumb Topping
- ½ cup Sugar
- ¾ cup AP Flour
- ⅓ cup Butter
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Line Pie Pan with Pie Crust, trimming excess with sharp knife and rippling the edge between your forefinger and thumb.
Pie Filling
- Peel and slice apples into bite sized pieces.
- Arrange Apple pieces in Pie. Sprinkle with ½ cup sugar mixed with Cinnamon.
Crumb Topping
- Combine remaining ½ cup Sugar and Flour. Cut in Butter with a Pastry Blender until you achieve a crumbly texture and spread the topping evenly over the pie.
- Bake at 450°F. for 10 minutes
- Reduce heat to 350°F. and bake for additional 40 minutes.
