Bacon-Wrapped Cheeseburger Balls

Air fryer bacon-wrapped cheese-filed balls are a great appetizer for any occasion.

  • Medium Mixing Bowl

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 lb. Bacon
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • ½ tsp. Black Pepper
  • 4 oz. Cheddar Cheese - cubed
  • 2 tsp. Sesame Seeds - Optional for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400° F.
  • Combine ground beef, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs in a mixing bowl. Thoroughly mix.
  • Cut cheese into ½” cubes.
  • Roll the ground beef mixture between your palms and form into a ball. Push a cheese cube into each and close meat over cube.
  • Wrap each ball with bacon, tucking in the ends. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  • Place the balls in the air fryer in a single layer, not touching each other.
  • Cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Garnish finished balls with sesame seeds.
  • Serve with your favorite barbeque or dipping sauce.

Notes

Make these balls in any size you like, from bite-sized finger food to full meatballs.
Calories reflect 1 oz. balls with a 1/2″ cheese cube and a whole thin slice of bacon.
They’re great with French Fries or Onion Rings.
