Bakery Style Bread

Incredibly soft Bread with Golden Tops and a Bakery Soft Insides.

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet or 3 Loaf Pans greased
  • Large Mixing Bowl

INGREDIENTS… 

  • 2 ½ cups Milk
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. Instant Dry Yeast
  • 6 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
  • 8 cups Wheat Flour
  • 1 Egg Yolk - for top brushing

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix by hand until the dough forms a ball. If dough is too sticky as you roll, wet your hand with a bit of tap water.
  • Preheat Oven to 350° F.
  • Cover the dough ball and allow it to rise in a warm place. When doubled, punch it down.
  • Divide dough ball into thirds and form into loaves. Place on a greased Baking Sheet or into Loaf Pans and allow to double again.
  • Brush tops with egg yolk. Score lightly with a sharp knife diagonally for appearance.
  • Bake at 350° F. for 35 minutes.
