Bakery Style Bread
Incredibly soft Bread with Golden Tops and a Bakery Soft Insides. Difficulty: Medium
Equipment
- Baking Sheet or 3 Loaf Pans greased
- Large Mixing Bowl
INGREDIENTS…
- 2 ½ cups Milk
- 1 ½ Tbsp. Instant Dry Yeast
- 6 Tbsp. Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil
- 8 cups Wheat Flour
- 1 Egg Yolk - for top brushing
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix by hand until the dough forms a ball. If dough is too sticky as you roll, wet your hand with a bit of tap water.
- Preheat Oven to 350° F.
- Cover the dough ball and allow it to rise in a warm place. When doubled, punch it down.
- Divide dough ball into thirds and form into loaves. Place on a greased Baking Sheet or into Loaf Pans and allow to double again.
- Brush tops with egg yolk. Score lightly with a sharp knife diagonally for appearance.
- Bake at 350° F. for 35 minutes.
