Beef Over Noodles

Crockpot Beef over Noodles is the ultimate comfort meal. Rich, hearty, and perfect for a no fuss dinner.

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Large Skillet

INGREDIENTS… 

  • 2 lbs Beef Chuck Roast - cubed
  • 1 small Onion - chopped
  • 8 oz. Mushrooms - sliced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 Tbsp. AP Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ½ tsp. Black Pepper
  • 10 oz. Egg Noodles

INSTRUCTIONS

Sear the Beef:

  • In a large skillet, sear the Beef, remove to the crockpot, leave juices in skillet.

Make the Gravy:

  • In the skillet used to sear the Beef, now melt Butter, whisk in Flour to form a rue, then add Onion, Mushrooms, Broth, Worcestershire Sauce, Garlic and Onion Powder, Pepper, and Salt. Stir to combine and simmer until thick, smooth, and rich. Add to Crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours until beef is tender.
  • Cook noodles:
  • In a large pot, boil noodles in salted water until tender, then drain.

Serve:

  • Either add the Noodles to the crockpot to make a single dish or serve the Beef & Gravy over Noodles.
