Pull Apart Bread

A soft and fluffy pull-apart loaf that is easy to make with just a few ingredients.
Yields Two Loaves.

Equipment

  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl
  • 2 Loaf Pans greased
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Wire Rack for cooling

INGREDIENTS… 

  • 1 cup Warm Milk - (Not Hot)
  • 2 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Salted Butter - melted
  • 3 ¼ cups AP Flour
  • Melted Butter - for brushing

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix Milk, Sugar, and Yeast in large bowl. Allow to bloom for 5 to 10 minutes until frothing.
  • Add Butter, Egg, and Flour.
  • Knead into Dough Ball.
  • Cover and allow to rise for 1 hour – Punch it down.
  • On a floured surface, flatten to 1″ thick.
  • Cut into 16 pieces and roll each into a ball by hand.
  • Roll each ball into a flat rectangle, the width of the pan, using a Rolling Pin
  • Make each into a mini jelly-roll shape and place each one, side by side, in a single layer across the greased Loaf Pans.
  • Cover and allow to rise for 40 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oved to 325°F.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes
  • Immediately brush top with butter. Allow to cool on a wire rack.

Notes

Use a clean towel or cling film to cover the bowl and pans while Dough is rising.
