Pull Apart Bread
A soft and fluffy pull-apart loaf that is easy to make with just a few ingredients. Yields Two Loaves.Difficulty: Medium
Servings 12 Slices per Loaf
Equipment
- 1 Large Mixing Bowl
- 2 Loaf Pans greased
- 1 Rolling Pin
- 1 Wire Rack for cooling
INGREDIENTS…
- 1 cup Warm Milk - (Not Hot)
- 2 tsp Instant Yeast
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup Salted Butter - melted
- 3 ¼ cups AP Flour
- Melted Butter - for brushing
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix Milk, Sugar, and Yeast in large bowl. Allow to bloom for 5 to 10 minutes until frothing.
- Add Butter, Egg, and Flour.
- Knead into Dough Ball.
- Cover and allow to rise for 1 hour – Punch it down.
- On a floured surface, flatten to 1″ thick.
- Cut into 16 pieces and roll each into a ball by hand.
- Roll each ball into a flat rectangle, the width of the pan, using a Rolling Pin
- Make each into a mini jelly-roll shape and place each one, side by side, in a single layer across the greased Loaf Pans.
- Cover and allow to rise for 40 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oved to 325°F.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes
- Immediately brush top with butter. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
Notes
Use a clean towel or cling film to cover the bowl and pans while Dough is rising.
