INGREDIENTS
2lbsBeef Chuck Roast - cubed
1small Onion - chopped
8oz.Mushrooms - sliced
2cupsBeef Broth
3Tbsp.Butter
3Tbsp.AP Flour
1Tbsp.Worcestershire Sauce
1tsp.Garlic Powder
1tsp.Onion Powder
1tsp.Salt
½tsp.Black Pepper
10oz.Egg Noodles
INSTRUCTIONS
Sear the Beef:
In a large skillet, sear the Beef, remove to the crockpot, leave juices in skillet.
Make the Gravy:
In the skillet used to sear the Beef, now melt Butter, whisk in Flour to form a rue, then add Onion, Mushrooms, Broth, Worcestershire Sauce, Garlic and Onion Powder, Pepper, and Salt. Stir to combine and simmer until thick, smooth, and rich. Add to Crockpot.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours until beef is tender.
Cook noodles:
In a large pot, boil noodles in salted water until tender, then drain.
Serve:
Either add the Noodles to the crockpot to make a single dish or serve the Beef & Gravy over Noodles.
