Chicken Bacon Cheddar Pasta
A One-Pan meal that the Bacon lovers in your home will adore. Simple, yet totally filling. This stovetop creation will have everyone coming back for seconds. Difficulty: Easy
Servings 6
Equipment
- Large Skillet with Deep Sides
INGREDIENTS…
- 1 Lb. Bacon - Regular slice – chopped
- 1 Small Onion - diced
- 1 ½ Lb. B/S Chicken -
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Pepper
- 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 16 oz. Rotinni Pasta
- 32 oz. Chicken Broth - (4 cups)
- 2 cups Cheddar Cheese - shredded
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place 1 pound of chopped Bacon in a large pan on medium heat. When 3/4 cooked through, add Onion and cook until translucent and the Bacon is crisp.
- Remove the Bacon and Onion from the pan and drain on paper towels. Leave any bacon grease in the pan.
- Cut 1 1/2 pounds of Chicken into bite-sized chunks. Season with Salt and Pepper. Then add 3 tablespoons of Cornstarch and mix well.
- Return Chicken to the pan and cook at medium-high heat for 3 minutes on both sides, tossing for another 1/2 minute. Remove the Chicken from the pan.
- Add Chicken Broth and Pasta to the pan. Raise heat to a boil and cook until liquid is gone and pasta is cooked through – 8 minutes.
- Set heat to low and add Heavy Cream. Stir and add 1 cup of Cheese, mix until melted. Add remaining Cheese and continue mixing until melted.
- Return Bacon and Chicken to the pan and toss.
- Serve Hot. Enjoy!
Notes
Optional Seasonings:
- Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning.
- Buttery Steakhouse Seasoning.
- Red Pepper Flakes for a little heat.
- A squeeze of Lemon Juice to brighten the dish.
