Cheeseburger Pockets

These Pockets are a juicy burger wrapped in a golden, flaky crust! Quick and loaded with cheesy goodness. The perfect portable on-the-go meal.

Equipment

  • Lg. Skillet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Baking Sheet

INGREDIENTS… 

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Sm. Onion - Finely Chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese - Shredded
  • 1 pkg. Crescent Rolls
  • 2 Tbsp. Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper - to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. EVOO

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the Oven to 375°F.
  • In a Lg. Skillet, heat EVOO and add the Onion when oil is hot.
  • Sauté Onions for about 3-4 minutes, until Translucent.
  • Add Ground Beef to Skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked.
  • Stir in Ketchup, Mustard, and Worcestershire Sauce. Mix well.
  • Add Salt and Pepper to taste.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Set Skillet aside from heat and allow the Ground Beef mixture to cool before filling.
  • Unroll the Dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of Ground Beef mixture on the wide end of each triangle, sprinkle some Shredded Cheese on top.
  • Fold the Dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal tightly.
  • Place the pockets on a parchment lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the Rolls are golden brown and crisp.

Notes

Allow the finished rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving.
