Italian Cookies
An Italian Favorite on every Cookie Table in town. Perfect for Christmas Parties.Difficulty: Easy
Servings 18 Cookies
Equipment
- Large Mixing Bowl
- Several Baking Sheets
INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup Butter - softened
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups AP Flour
- 3 tsp. Baking POWDER
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350°F. and grease cookie sheets.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour and baking powder; stir into the creamed mixture until blended. Divide dough into walnut-sized portions. Roll each piece into a rope and then shape into a loop. Place cookies 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until firm with golden edges.
