Hamburger and Pasta
Creamy comfort food in a single pan that’s ready in 30 minutes.

Servings 6
Equipment
- Large Skillet with Deep Sides and Lid
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 ½ Tbsp. Butter
- ½ Onion - finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 tsp. Italian Herbs
- ½ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes - (optional)
- 3 ½ cups Chicken Broth
- 2 cups Penne Pasta
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- ¼ cup Mozzarella Cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large skillet, crumble and brown Beef over medium high heat (about 10 minutes).
- Add the Onions to the pan and sauté until the Onions are translucent (2 minutes).
- Add a Tbsp. of Butter and the minced Garlic and cook until Garlic is fragrant (30 seconds).
- Season with Salt, Pepper, Italian Seasoning, and optional Pepper Flakes. Mix well to combine.
- Add Chicken Broth and bring to a boil.
- Add raw Pasta and simmer for about 10 minutes until Pasta is al Denté.
- Add Heavy Cream and simmer for an additional minute.
- Turn off heat. Sprinkle Cheese over mixture. Cover and let the Cheese melt for another minute.
- Uncover. Add chopped Chives on top as a garnish and Serve.
