Potato Buns

Delicious Golden Buns – Fluffy, soft and Gluten free.

Equipment

  • Large Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Large Mising Bowl
  • Potato Masher
  • Spatula

INGREDIENTS… 

  • 2 Boiled Potatoes
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ cup Greek Yogurt
  • ½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • Sesame Seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat Oven to 350°F.
  • Mash COLD Potatoes, add Eggs, Yogurt, and Baking Powder.
  • Gently fold into soft dough. Do Not Overwork dough.
  • Form into balls and place on Parchment paper lined Baking Sheet, spaced apart to allow for expansion.
  • Brush with Egg Yolk and sprinkle with Sesame Seeds.
  • Allow to rise (proof) then bake until golden brown
  • Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use a cold Boiled Potato for better texture
Store in an airtight container up to 3 days
