INGREDIENTS

AP Flour

Cornstarch

Baking POWDER

Baking SODA

Salt

tsp.
Sugar

tsp.
Onion Powder
¼
tsp.
Garlic Powder

Club Soda

INSTRUCTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Whisk together to blend well.
Slowly add the
cold
club soda to the dry ingredients while constantly whisking to create a smooth batter.
Allow the batter sit
for a few minutes to
thicken slightly.
Dip your choice of seafood or chicken into the batter, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Fry the coated pieces in hot oil
(350° F)
until golden brown and crispy, usually about
3-4 minutes per side
.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
Makes enough batter for approximately 2 lbs. of seafood or chicken. Excellent on Walleye, Perch, Tilapia, or Shrimp.
