INGREDIENTS
1cupMinute Rice - uncooked
1 ½lb.B/S Chicken Breasts
1canCream Of Chicken Soup - 10.5 oz undiluted
1can Cream Of Mushroom Soup - 10.5 oz undiluted
1cupChicken Broth
1PacketOnion Soup Mix
Salt and Pepper - to taste
6oz.Mushrooms - sliced
INSTRUCTIONS
Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Spread the Minute Rice evenly over the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the Chicken Breasts on top of the Minute Rice.
In a mixing bowl, combine the Mushrooms, the Cream Of Chicken Soup, Cream Of Mushroom Soup, and Chicken Broth. Mix until smooth.
Pour the soup mixture over the Chicken Breasts and Minute Rice, making sure everything is covered.
Sprinkle the Onion Soup Mix evenly on top.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours, or until the Chicken Breasts are cooked through and tender.
Remove the cooked Chicken Breasts to a large serving plate and, using opposing forks, shred it. Return it to pot and stir to evenly combine.
Season with Salt and Pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
Substitute Cream Of Celery Soup for one of the other soups for a different flavor profile.Add a dash of paprika and a hint of garlic powder to give the dish extra kick.
