Onion Rings – Easy

Super easy, no fuss – one bowl Onion Rings perfect to compliment any main dish.

Equipment

  • Lg. Frying Pan
  • Medium Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 Lg. Onions - sliced into rings
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil - for frying

Batter

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups AP Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Paprika, and Baking Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Slice Onions and separate into Rings.
  • Combine all Batter Ingredients – Whisk together.
  • Heat oil to 375°F .
  • Dip Ring in batter to completely coat each Ring.
  • Place into oil in a single layer. Do not crowd. Work in batches.
  • Using tongs or a fork, flip over halfway.
  • Fry till golden brown. (2 – 3 minutes.)
  • Remove to a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  • Plate and enjoy.

Notes

Keep warm in 200°F oven while making other batches.
