Chicken And Buttered Noodles

Equipment
- Large Covered Skillet with Deep Sides
INGREDIENTS…
- 1 lb B/S Chicken Breasts or Thighs
- 4 Tbsp. Butter - divided
- 1 Tbsp. EVOO
- 1 Small Onion - diced (optional)
- 2 Cloves Garlic - minced
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
- 3 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 ½ cups Milk or Half-And-Half
- 8 oz Egg Noodles - uncooked
- Optional: Parsley, Parmesan, or Red Pepper Flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut Chicken into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat 2 Tbsp. Butter and Oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add Chicken and season with Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Italian Seasoning, Salt, and Pepper. Cook until no pink remains. DO NOT OVERCOOK.
- Add diced Onion (if using) and cook 2 to 3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in minced Garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Add the uncooked Egg Noodles, Chicken Broth, and Milk, making sure Noodles are fully covered with liquid. Stir well.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until Noodles are tender.
- Stir in remaining Butter to finish the Noodles. Simmer 1 to 2 minutes to melt Butter and thicken slightly.
- Garnish with Parsley or Parmesan and serve warm.
