Ground Beef with Noodles

Equipment

  • Large Skillet with Deep Sides

INGREDIENTS… 

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 8 oz. Egg Noodles
  • 1 Small Onion - chopped
  • 3 Cloves Garlic - minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 can Cream Of Mushroom Soup - (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese - shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese - grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt - to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Parsley - chopped (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cook the Egg Noodles until al denté, (7 to 9 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  • Heat Oil in a large skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Add the Ground Beef and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease, if needed.
  • Add the Onion and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until softened.
  • Stir in Garlic and cook until fragrant. (1 minute)
  • Add the Butter, stirring to melt. Pour in the Beef Broth and simmer for 2 minutes, scraping up any bits from the pan.
  • Stir in the Heavy Cream and Cream Of Mushroom Soup until smooth.
  • Add Italian Seasoning, Paprika, Salt, and Black Pepper. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Add the Noodles and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Add the Cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  • Cook for another 2 minutes, then garnish with Fresh Parsley and serve warm.

Notes

You may omit (or use less of) the Garlic if you like.
