Beef Stroganoff

A flavorful Stroganoff with a special zing of Boursin Cheese. Easy to prepare right in your Slow Cooker. Everyone will love it.

  • 1 Large Skillet
  • Slow Cooker

INGREDIENTS 

  • 16 oz. Egg Noodles - cooked, al dente
  • 2 lbs. Beef Stew Meat - cubed
  • 1 Onion - diced
  • 1 pound Mushrooms - sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. EVOO
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 ½ cups Beef Broth - divided
  • 1 pkg Boursin Cheese - 5.3 oz.
  • 8 oz. Sour Cream
  • 3 Tbsps. Cornstarch

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Season Beef with Salt and Pepper. Heat Oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add seasoned Beef to skillet . Quickly sear until browned on all sides. Do NOT over-cook.
  • Place the browned Beef, Garlic Powder, Onion, Dijon, Worcestershire, Mushrooms and 2 cups Broth in a slow cooker.
  • Cook 4-5 hours on high (7-8 hours on low) until beef is tender.
  • When almost done, combine the remaining Broth with Cornstarch, mix until lump-free, and stir into slow cooker. Cover and cook an additional 15 minutes or until thickened.
  • Add the Boursin Cheese and Sour Cream and stir until smooth and completely combined.
  • Serve over Egg Noodles.
