Cheesy Bread

Super easy with every bite a celebration of Shredded Mozzarella, Parmesan Cheese, Garlic Butter, and Italian Seasonings. It will have everyone demanding more.

Equipment

  • Parchment lined Baking Sheet
  • Rotary Pizza Slicer/Wheel
  • Pastry Brush
  • Rolling Pin

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 Can Pillsbury Pizza Dough - thin or regular
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter - melted
  • Salt and Pepper - to taste
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
  • ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese - grated
  • 1 ½ Cups Mozzarella Cheese - shredded
  • Marinara Sauce - optional for dipping

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F.
  • Roll out the the Pizza Dough on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet to a thin rectangle.
  • Brush with melted Butter using a pastry brush. Roll flat and thin to the edges.
  • Season it with Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder and Italian Seasoning.
  • Spread both Cheeses evenly on top.
  • Bake on the center rack of the oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the dough is cooked all the way through.
  • Garnish with Dried Parsley and slice into narrow strips about an inch wide by your desired length using a rotary Pizza slicer.
  • Serve warm!

Notes

For a truly fabulous variation, add your favorite cooked meat or veggie on top of the Parmesan and under the Mozzarella Cheese before baking. Be sure to chop the additions very small.
