INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Lb. Sausage Meat - Beef, Pork, Chicken – your choice.
  • 1 sheet Ready-Made Puff Pastry
  • 1 small Onion - finely chopped
  • 1 Egg - beaten (for Egg wash)
  • 1 clove Garlic - minced

  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt and Black Pepper - to taste
  • Sesame Seeds or extra Parsley - for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix the Sausage with chopped Onion, Garlic, Parsley, Worcestershire Sauce, Salt, and Pepper.
  • Unroll the Puff Pastry into a large rectangle and cut in half lengthwise.
  • Divide the sausage into two long logs and place down the center of each strip.
  • Brush one edge of the strip with beaten Egg and roll dry edge over the sausage to form a log, pressing gently to seal the overlapping seam on the bottom of each log. Cut each log into 6 bite-sized rolls.
  • Place on the baking tray, brush the tops with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or parsley if desired.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use your favorite meat or even a blend of two or more kinds.
This recipe may easily be doubled and all baked at once.
Add a bit of grated Cheddar Cheese to the mixture for a moist, creamy texture.
