Bacon Cheddar Potatoes

These Bacon Cheddar Potatoes, topped with cheese and bacon, are really easy and so very delicious.

Equipment

  • 1 9" Sq. Glass Baking Dish
  • 1 Medium Mixing Bowl

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1.5 lbs. Baby Potatoes - sliced in half lengthwise
  • 1 sm. Onion - diced
  • 2 tsps. Seasoned Salt
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 2 cups Three Cheese Blend - shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter (Salted) - cubed
  • 1 cup Bacon (thin sliced) - cooked and crumbled
  • 3 Green Onion - sliced – for topping

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
  • Spray a 9″x9″ baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, combine sliced Potatoes, Onion, Seasoned Salt, and Garlic Salt. Stir until the potatoes are thoroughly coated.
  • Pour mixture into baking dish. Dot the top of the potatoes with cubed butter.
  • Bake for 30 minutes (uncovered) or until potatoes are fork tender.
  • Top with Cheese and Bacon.
  • Return to oven, uncovered, until cheese is melted (8-10 minutes).
  • Top with a sprinkle of Green Onions before serving.

Notes

Potatoes are Fork Tender when a potato can be easily pierced with a fork yet still retain its shape.
