Pepper Steak - Crock Pot
Beef simmered with Peppers and Onions . Pure comfort in a bowl. Your slow cooker does the work.

For Beef

Flank Steak or Sirloin

For Sauce

Low-Sodium Beef Broth

cup
Low-Sodium Soy Sauce

Brown Sugar

Worcestershire Sauce

Ground Ginger

tsp.
Black Pepper

Red Pepper Flakes

INSTRUCTIONS
Thinly slice the Steak across the grain and place in a bowl. Toss with Cornstarch until lightly coated.
Place Beef in the slow cooker. Top with sliced Onions, Bell Peppers, and Garlic.
In a small bowl, whisk together Beef Broth, Soy Sauce, Brown Sugar, Worcestershire Sauce, Ground Ginger, Black Pepper, and Red Pepper Flakes.
Pour the sauce evenly into the Crock Pot, cover and cook on
LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours
, until Beef is tender.
Stir gently before serving.
Notes
Garnish with Sesame Seeds and Green Onions, if desired.
Serve over steamed White Rice, Fried Rice, or Lo Mein.
