INGREDIENTS
Hamburger Steaks
1½lbsGround Beef - (80/20)
Salt & Black Pepper
½tsp.Garlic Powder
½tsp.Onion Powder
1Tbsp.oil
Onion Gravy
2TbspButter
1lg. Onion - thinly sliced
¼tsp.Sugar
2Tbsp.AP Flour
2cupsBeef Broth
1tsp.Worcestershire Sauce
Salt & Black Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Form the steaks into thick oval patties and season Ground Beef with Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder & Onion Powder.
Sear the Steaks
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear patties 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Onions
In the same skillet, melt Butter.
Add Onions and sauté until soft. Very lightly sprinkle with Sugar to aid in caramelizing.
Make the Gravy
Sprinkle Flour over Onions → stir continuously for 1 minute.
