For Burgers
1 ½lbsGround Beef - (80/20)
½cupPlain Breadcrumbs
1Egg
2Tbsp.Milk
1tsp.Garlic Powder
1tsp.Onion Powder
½tsp.Paprika
Salt and Black Pepper - to taste
2Tbsp.EVOO - for cooking
For Gravy
1Tbsp.Butter
1medium Onion - sliced
8ozMushrooms - sliced
2Tbsp.AP Flour
2cupsBeef Broth
1Tbsp.Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Black Pepper - to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Make Bugers
In a large bowl, gently combine Beef, Breadcrumbs, Egg, Milk, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Paprika, Salt, and pepper, folding as little as possible.
Shape into Burgers and sear in a skillet over medium-high heat until well browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Make Gravy
In the same skillet, melt Butter and add Onions and Mushrooms. Sauté until softened and Onions are lightly caramelized.
Lightly sprinkle flour on veggies. Stir until absorbed.
Slowly pour in Beef Broth, add Worcestershire Sauce, stirring constantly.
Combine
Return the Burgers to the skillet, spoon gravy on top, reduce heat, and simmer until the gravy thickens and Burgers reach 155°F. internal temp for Medium doneness.
Serve hot along with your favorite sides.
