Chicken – Cheesy Oven Bake
Tender Baked Chicken smothered in a Golden Brown Cheesy Topping, Comfort Food that really does melt in your mouth.Difficulty: Easy
Equipment
- Large Mixing Bowl
- 9 x 13 Baking Pan
- Whisk
INGREDIENTS…
- 4 B/S Chicken Breasts
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese - grated
- 1 tsp. Seasoned Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a Baking Dish.
- In a bowl, stir together the Mayonnaise, Cheese, Seasoning Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Powder until smooth and lump free..
- Cut each Breast in half, crosswise, and place into the mixing bowl, one at a time, coating each with mixture. Then move each to the Baking Dish in a single layer
- Pour any remaining mixture over the chicken as evenly as possible.
- Bake uncovered until the Chicken is cooked through (160°F. minimum internal temp.) and the cheese is lightly Golden and bubbly. (See note)
- Allow the Chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Use an instant read digital thermometer to check doneness. Checken temp will rise slightly to 165°F. as it rests.
